As PepsiCo's Global Ag-Tech Lead, Vishal Ratan's mission is to spearhead transformative Agro-technological interventions on a global scale. Before this role Vishal worked as an Associate Director for Digitization & Automation in AMESA (Africa, Middle East, South Asia) as part of the Sector Agro Team. His core focus was on leveraging technology to build resilient supply chains through fast emerging technologies addressing challenges to sustainable potato production. Before PepsiCo, Vishal was an entrepreneur leading Agzon Group, an Ag-input & Ag-tech focused startup in India where his responsibilities spanned across sales, marketing, and go-to-market strategy. Prior to this, he worked with Syngenta, a global crop protection and technology leader, in various sales & marketing roles gaining critical experience in crop protection and hybrid seeds for row crops & vegetables.
