Agrifood entrepreneur behind some of the Middle East’s early agri-unicorns, Tomar leads a multilateral venture-building ecosystem. A champion of regenerative agriculture and sustainable agrifood ventures, he helped advocate for the UN-declared International Year of Pulses (2016). He advises governments and multilateral bodies, including FAO, GPC and the UN Tomar is a globally recognized keynote speaker; and frequently serves as a judge for global start-up hackathons. He was listed in Forbes’ Top 100 Indian Leaders in the Arab World and has received GPC President’s Award, Global Agriculture Award, Business Leader of the Year from Government of Dubai, and Outstanding Contribution Award from Government of India.
