Raphael Dumain is a scientist, molecular biologist by education, who started his career in the vaccine division of Aventis Pasteur in 2000 pior to joining Bayer in 2001. Raphael is bringing more than 23 years of expertise in ag to the table and has spent time in the seeds & traits as well as in the chemistry space including biologicals. He has held various leadership positions focused on delivering collaborative approaches to enable R&D. As the global lead for External Innovation & Partnerships at Bayer's Crop Science division, Raphael is dealing with all kinds of partnerships for all technologies and spans all geographical ecosystems focusing on enabling access to external innovation to maximize value of the Bayer pipeline.
