Omar is the Founder and Chief Sustainability Officer of MICHELIN Green Star restaurant BOCA, a multi-award winning modern European restaurant located in the prestigious Gate Village in Dubai's International Financial Center (DIFC). He founded BOCA with the belief that there are enough creative people in the UAE to run a forward-thinking restaurant that can rival any world-class concept. He is an advocate of local food and farming, foraging, exploring new food sources, rethinking dining experiences and collaborating across borders and industries.
