Marius is an experienced investment professional focusing on Agri-tech investments in emerging markets. At FMO Ventures, he is responsible for early-stage investments across Africa and South(east) Asia, specializing in companies that leverage technology to improve the upstream (i.e. production) end of the agribusiness value chain.
Since 2020, the FMO Ventures Program (AuM of over USD 400m) invests in early-stage startups in the Fintech, Agri-tech, and Cleantech sectors as well as Venture Capital funds, across Africa and South(east) Asia.
Prior to FMO, Marius worked for Monitor Deloitte and holds a MSc in Quantitative Finance from the University of Amsterdam.
