Ines Kapphan is the VP of Data & Cloud Solutions at Bayer Crop Science, developing cloud-based solutions for the agricultural value chain. As a trained data scientist, Ines spent time in academia, where she obtained a PhD from ETH Zurich, researching the impact of climate change on agricultural production. Ines began her career in Silicon Valley, working in various Product Management roles, before moving to Switzerland. With more than a decade of experience in digital agriculture, Ines is passionate about leveraging cloud technology to bridge the flow of data & insights from farm to fork, to create new innovative products & services benefiting both the farmer and the consumer.
