Dr. Dinesh Kumar Chauhan currently serves as the CEO and Head of the Agribusiness and Innovation Platform (AIP) at ICRISAT. With over 22 years of experience in leadership roles across the non-profit and private sectors, Dr. Chauhan is a highly accomplished agribusiness professional. His expertise spans business development, resource mobilization, and international partnerships, with specialized knowledge in Agtech, Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), fresh produce quality management, and techno-economic feasibility analysis. He actively participates on advisory boards for various organizations such as the Africa Agribusiness Alliance, AgTech Insight California, Ghana India Trade Advisory Council, TISS ' SVE , and other agriculture universities. Dr. Chauhan is also a member of the National Level Committee for Agri Startups and the CII National AI Forum . Additionally, he is part of the Expert Group for AI for India 2030 by the World Economic Forum, developing the "AI Playbook for the Agriculture Sector." Dr. Chauhan holds a Ph.D. in Management, an MBA in Agribusiness, and an MSc in Food Technology. His career is marked by significant global exposure, having worked with diverse cross-cultural teams across the US, Australia, Russia, Europe, Africa, China, the Middle East, and South Asia. Renowned in industry circles and a sought-after public speaker, Dr. Chauhan is recognized for his thought leadership in agribusiness and innovation.
