Investment Officer, Digital Agriculture , FAO
A specialist in designing and scaling impactful digital programs, Amol’s work has focused on transforming smallholder farming, accelerating financial inclusion, and climate resilience.  Prior to joining FAO, Amol held leadership roles with the GSMA AgriTech team, The AgTech Network and served as Head of AgTech for the Tony Blair Institute. His work at the intersection of technology and agriculture has involved partnerships with a range of stakeholders including agribusinesses, farmer cooperatives, financial institutions, smallholder farmers themselves and governments. His collaborative efforts have also extended to global donors and investors, including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, USAID, the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), the World Bank, the International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
