Adrian Mattmann is part of IFC's Financial Institutions Group that uses de-risking instruments and offers advisory services to increase lending in agricultural value chain in the Middle East. Before taking on the role as investment officer for financial institutions in GCC, Adrian worked with IFC's agri-finance team in Africa leading transactions with AgTechs, Mobile Network Operators, and research work in digitally enabled agrifinance. He brings hands-on experience in expanding leading mobile money services across Sub-Saharan Africa, especially through improving the value propositions in the distribution network for agents, aggregators, and merchants.
