Abel Boreto
Abel is an Investment Director at Novastar Ventures East Africa Advisors Limited, based in Nairobi, where he focuses on funding high-impact startups across sectors such as agritech, smart logistics, electric mobility, financial services, food and grocery delivery, B2B ecommerce, healthcare, education, fleet management and asset financing.
Before joining Novastar in 2019, Abel co-founded and exited a dairy processing and retail distribution business in Eldoret, Kenya, which introduced automated milk vending machines to improve access to affordable and quality dairy products for low-income consumers.
Earlier in his career, Abel worked as a Credit Research Analyst at Bloomberg L.P. in the United States. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University, USA.
